Director, Taxation & Business Services - Adelaide
Des has been part of MGI Adelaide for over 30 years, having previously worked for a Big 4 firm for 4 years.
Des has gathered a great deal of practical experience over the 30+ years that he has been engaged in Public Practice.
He deals with a wide range of clients from many different industries and specialises in offering consulting and mentoring services to family owned and operated businesses.
For many years Des has represented our firm on the National Executive of MGI Australasia and on MGI international committees. He presently is a member of the international Managing Committee of MGI and has been Chairman of MGI for 2 years from 2003 to 2005.
Many of the clients that Des advises have operations outside of Australia. Des has developed many international contacts during his years of involvement with MGI with the result that he is able to provide his clients with personalised services in all parts of the world from people that he knows well.
Coming from a rural background Des has a special understanding of the needs of regional businesses, particularly those engaged in the wine and grain-growing industries.
